How to Use the ScreenMerch™ Extension

Step 1: Install the Extension

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for ScreenMerch.
  2. Click “Add to Chrome” and follow the installation prompts.
  3. Once installed, you’ll see the ScreenMerch icon in your browser toolbar.

Step 2: Navigate to a YouTube Channel

  1. Open YouTube and go to the channel you’re interested in.
  2. Check Channel Approval:
    • If the channel is approved you will see a ScreenMerch logo, proceed to capture a screenshot.
    • If the channel is not approved, a notification will appear with options:
      • Download Creator Request Form: Use this form to request the creator’s approval.
      • Notify ScreenMerch Team: Inform us, and we’ll reach out to the creator.

Step 3: Capture a Screenshot from an Approved Channel

  1. Open a video from an approved channel.
  2. Click on the ScreenMerch icon in your toolbar to launch the extension.
  3. Pause the video at the perfect moment click“Capture Screenshot” button.
  4. Preview your screenshot in the extension window.

Step 4: Customize Your Product

  1. Select a product from the dropdown menu (e.g., coffee mugs, t-shirts, posters).
  2. Use the preview to ensure your screenshot fits perfectly on the product.
  3. Click “Send to Printify” to upload your design to our print-on-demand partner.

Step 5: Finalize Your Merchandise

  1. After sending your design to Printify, you’ll be redirected to a product page.
  2. Customize the product further if needed (e.g., resize, adjust placement).
  3. Add the product to your cart and proceed to checkout.

  • Choose videos with clear, high-quality frames for optimal screenshot output.
  • Explore different products to find the perfect fit for your design.
  • Save your favorite designs directly to Printify for easy reordering.
  • If you don’t find the product you like reach out to ScreenMerch to add.
